Application Co-Signer
If you are a student applying for a rental property, you may find yourself prompted to have a co-signer submit a form along with your application.
If you are unfamiliar with what a co-signer is please read the following FAQ’s.
-
A co-signer for a rental application is someone who agrees to take on financial responsibility for a rental property alongside the primary tenant. Co-signing is typically used when the primary tenant doesn't meet the landlord's requirements or has insufficient income or credit history to qualify for the rental property on their own. The co-signer essentially acts as a guarantor, ensuring that the rent will be paid and other lease obligations will be met.

During our online application form you will be asked if your student career is being supported financially.
If the answer is yes, then a co-signer is needed to complete your rental application.
